BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 18. The value of industrial production in Uzbekistan from January through October 2022 amounted to 439.9 trillion soums ($39.3 billion), which is an increase of 23.5 percent compared to the same period of 2021 (356 trillion soums, or $31.8 billion), Trend reports referring to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The value of production of the mining industry for the corresponding period amounted to 42.7 trillion soums ($3.8 billion), which is an increase of 24.7 percent compared to the same period last year (34.3 trillion soums, or $3 billion).
During this period the value of production in the manufacturing industry increased by 23.6 percent compared to the same period in 2021 (295.2 trillion soums, or $26.4 billion), reaching 364.9 trillion soums ($32.6 billion).
From January through October 2022 the value of production in the field of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning reached 29.9 trillion soums ($2.7 billion).
