BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. A subsidiary of Russia's FESCO transport group, recently launched in Uzbekistan, will help the latter to develop rail container transportation from Europe, in particular, from Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and other countries, FESCO Russia told Trend.
According to the company, the subsidiary - 'FESCO TURAN' was opened in Tashkent on October 6 to develop logistics services in the region.
"The focus of FESCO TURAN's work will be directed to operational support of the FESCO's existing regular container services from the Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port (Russia) to Uzbekistan’s Tashkent and Angren cities, the new FESCO Trans China Railway intermodal service from the countries of Southeast Asia through the Chinese port of Lianyungang to Tashkent," the company said.
FESCO TURAN will also work on development of rail container transportation from Europe to Uzbekistan and between the countries of South Asia and Uzbekistan through the port of Novorossiysk (Russia).
“Our office in Tashkent will be engaged in the development of the transportation market in Uzbekistan and the entire region,” FESCO said.
FESCO specializes in container transportation and delivers any type of cargo that can be transported in containers, from household appliances to machinery and equipment.
