BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 13. Uzbekistan imported 15,400 cubic meters of timber products from the Kirov region of Russia since the beginning of 2022, Trend reports via Russian Rosselkhoznadzor Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.
These products included 8,400 cubic meters of lumber, 2,200 cubic meters of round timber, as well as 4,800 cubic meters of wood packaging, fastening materials, and veneer.
According to the results of the laboratory control carried out in the Kirov branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution All-Russian Plant Quarantine Center (VNIIKR), phytosanitary certificates were issued to exporters allowing the export of products outside the Russian Federation.
