BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. The trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the EU countries in January 2023 amounted to over 323.8 million euros, Trend reports with reference to Eurostat.
According to the information, this figure increased by 37.1 percent year-on-year (January 2022 – 236.1 million euros).
Eurostat says that Uzbekistan’s exports to the EU countries in January 2023 amounted to 66.3 million euros, which is 1.7 percent more than during the same period in 2022 (65.2 million euros).
At the same time, Uzbekistan increased imports from EU countries in the first month of this year by almost 2 times from 170.8 million euros to 257.4 million euros.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the EU countries in 2022 amounted to 4.6 billion euros. Exports from Uzbekistan to EU countries reached 844.5 million euros, while imports – were 3.7 billion euros.
