BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 15. Large industrial enterprises of Uzbekistan produced 4.8 million tons of coal from January through November 2022, Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The growth rate compared to the corresponding period in 2021 amounted to 3.8 percent.
Uzbek industrial enterprises produced 4.4 million tons of coal from January through October 2022.
For the autumn-winter season, the state plans to sell an additional 882,000 tons of locally mined coal to the population.
Uzbekistan is rich in minerals such as gold, uranium, copper, coal and phosphates.
