BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 5.Turkmenistan's foreign trade turnover increased by 39.1 percent from January through October 2022 compared to the same period last year,Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on November 4.
According to him, during the reporting period, production in Turkmenistan increased by 10.9 percent compared to January through October 2021 period, and retail trade turnover has grown by 10.5 percent.
At the meeting, the results of the government's work in the economic sphere for 10 months of 2022 were summed up, draft documents were considered and priority tasks of the socio-economic development of the country were discussed.
