BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 11. The area of land in the Dashoguz region in the north of Turkmenistan sown with rice has been published, Trend reports citing the Turkmenistan Golden Age online newspaper.
This year, 8,100 hectares have been sown in the region, from which 35,000 tons of rice are planned to be harvested.
The entire land area allocated for culture falls on two specialized farms in the Saparmurat Turkmenbashi district.
At the moment, the rice fields are being cared for according to the norms of agricultural technology.
