BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 1. Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Belgium Sapar Palvanov met with the Director of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium Olivier Belle, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Turkmen Embassy in Belgium.
During the meeting, the sides discussed important aspects of cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
At the end of the meeting, Sapar Palvanov presented copies of his credentials and stressed that he would make every effort to further expand relations between Turkmenistan and Belgium.
The decree on the appointment of Sapar Palvanov as the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium was signed in July 2022.
