BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 16. The US Agency for International Development (USAID) will assist the Ashgabat Stock Exchange (ASE) in the creation of private brokerage and investment companies in Turkmenistan in the next three years, Trend reports citing Turkmenportal.
ASE plans to introduce an electronic trading system and launch new financial products – corporate bonds, exchange-traded investment funds, etc.
Furthermore, it became known that ASE plans to strengthen cooperation with foreign exchanges and establish a full-fledged work of the exchange's training center.
Meanwhile, recently the Ashgabat Stock Exchange jointly with USAID conducted courses on brokerage services and securities issuance.
The USAID is the highest federal agency of the US government in the field of assistance abroad.
