BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. Turkmenistan sells a large batch of liquefied natural gas to entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan, the UAE and Afghanistan, Trendreports.
Turkmenistan sold a total of 10,000 tons of liquefied natural gas to businessmen from Uzbekistan, the UAE and Afghanistan, the cost of which was estimated at $341 per ton. The total amount of LNG sales transactions amounted to $3.4 million.
At the same time, according to the exchange, businessmen from the UAE, China and Kyrgyzstan purchased 66.4 tons of various types of dyed terry products worth $ 298,800 ($4,500 per ton).
Meanwhile, in Turkmenistan as a whole, the plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas was exceeded by 6.4 percent from January through April, 2023, and the plan for the production of liquefied gas - by 1.4 percent.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
