BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 12. Turkmen Guwlyduz enterprise, located in the Balkan region in the west of Turkmenistan, produced over 96,400 tons of salt in 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
The company exceeded the salt production plan by 3.7 percent during the specified period.
From the extracted products, the company produced over 85,700 tons of coarse salt in 2022, which is 4,700 tons more than the planned amount.
Furthermore, during the specified period, the volume of production of edible salt by the Guwlyduz enterprise amounted to 31,400 tons, and the plan for its production was exceeded by 57.1 percent.
According to the data, the reserves of deposits of raw materials for production exceed 40 million tons. Currently, the iodization of the salt extracted here has been established.
Guwlyduz enterprise of the Turkmenhimiya State Concern occupies a leading position in Central Asia, as well as the fourth place in the world in salt production.
