BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 1. The World Food Programme (WFP) has published a 'Market Situation Update' for Tajikistan for October 24-30, Trend reports with reference to the WFP.
According to WFP, an average fuel price (per 1 liter) in Tajikistan as of October 24, 2022, amounted to 10.3 somoni ($1), which is a decrease of 6 percent over the same date of September 2022.
"During this period, fuel prices in Tajikistan continued to decline by 1-5 percent in 7 markets. Overall, it is 6 percent lower than last month and 6 percent lower than the same period last year on average," the WFP said.
The lowest price per 1 liter of petrol in the reporting period was recorded in Tajikistan's Hisor 9.4 somoni ($0.92) and Khujand 9.5 somoni ($0.93).
