BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 26. Tajikistan exported gold worth $465.2 million to Switzerland, from January through September 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.
According to statistics, the volume of Tajik gold exports to Switzerland in the 9 months of this year amounted to 7,821 kg.
Furthermore, during this period, the value of Tajikistan's silver exports to Switzerland amounted to $1.1 million.
In general, Tajikistan from January through September 2022 exported 10,175 kg of gold in the amount of $607.4 million.
Notably, Zarafshon, a Tajik-Chinese joint venture, is one of the country's largest gold mining enterprises, which accounts for 70 percent of Tajikistan's total gold production.
