BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 22. Tajikistan's Ministry of Agriculture has published the latest information on its vegetable harvest, Trend reports citing the ministry's press service.
As of October 14, 2022, Tajik farmers have collected a total of 1,204,239 tons of vegetables, including:
- 525,819 tons of onions;
- 247,076 tons of tomatoes;
- 119,968 tons of cucumbers;
- 123,850 tons of carrots;
- 46,115 tons of cabbage;
- 141,410 tons of other vegetables.
Meanwhile, according to the Export Agency under the Government of Tajikistan, in the first 9 months of this year, Tajikistan exported agricultural products worth $40.1 million, which is almost a twofold increase over the same period in 2021 ($20.1 million).
