BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. The Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan has published latest information on volume of grain harvest, Trend reports with reference to the ministry's press service.
According to the ministry, as of October 14, 2022, the total volume of grain harvest in Tajikistan amounted to 941,695 tons.
"The grain yield in the Khatlon region is 36.2 centners per hectare, in the Sughd region - 28 centners per hectare, in Dushanbe - 24 centners per hectare, and in districts under central government jurisdiction - 28 centners per hectare," the message said.
In addition, the volume of wheat harvest in Tajikistan as of October 14 amounted to 715,552 tons.
Meanwhile, the last year's wheat harvest in Tajikistan amounted to 864,000 tons. This year the harvest is expected at the level of 917,000 tons.
