BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 14. Tajikistan's exports of agricultural products significantly increased from January through September 2022, Trend reports citing press service of the Export Agency under the Government of Tajikistan.
According to the Agency, Tajikistan in the first 9 months of this year exported agricultural products worth $40.1 million, which is almost a twofold increase over the same period in 2021 ($20.1 million).
During this period, Russia and Kazakhstan became the main importers of Tajik agricultural products.
Earlier, Tajikistan's Ministry of Agriculture reported that as of October 7, 2022, Tajik farmers have collected a total of 1,197,016 tons of vegetables, while fruit harvest amounted to 212,392 tons.
