BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 23. Upon the initiative of Tajik and Turkish businessmen, a spinning mill will be put into operation in Tajikistan's Sughd region, said head of the region Rajabboy Ahmadzoda, Trend reports, referring to the official website of the Sughd region.
According to him, Tajik and Turkish entrepreneurs intend to produce ready-made cotton products at the site of an old "Olimtextiles" spinning mill.
"Currently, work on modernization of technological lines are underway. The launch of the spinning mill will lead to the creation of 300 new jobs," he said.
Ahmadzoda also praised the entrepreneurs' initiative and emphasized the importance of effectively managing production capacities by recalling the mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Türkiye.
Meanwhile, Mastchoh is one of the largest cotton-growing districts of the Tajikistan's Sughd region, which has a plenty of opportunities for the creation of new industrial enterprises.
