BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 22. Tajikistan's gold exports to Switzerland declined from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.
Tajikistan exported 6,970 tons of gold to Switzerland in the first half of 2022 worth $411.2 million, which is a decrease of 22.7 percent compared to the same period of last year ($532 million).
However, despite a decline in gold imports, Switzerland surpassed China ($104.8 million) and ranked first among the main gold-importing countries from Tajikistan in the first half of 2022.
Meanwhile, the total value of Tajik gold exports from January through June 2022 amounted to $538.9 million and gold powder - $54 million.
