BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 17. Active work is underway on construction of an air terminal complex of the Karakol airport in Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports citing the press service of Manas International Airport OJSC.
Construction of an artificial surface for the airfield's components is still ongoing, with lengthening of the runway by 400 meters and installation of lighting equipment on it.
The implementation of this project is carried out by the "Kyrgyzstroyservis" state enterprise under the Administration of the President of Kyrgyzstan.
"After the completion of construction and installation work, the renovated Karakol airport will serve up to 250 passengers per hour," said the statement.
