Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2022. / Kabar /. The level of digitalization and digitalization in Kyrgyzstan continues to grow dynamically. In 2022, Kyrgyzstan has risen by 20 positions compared to 2014, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
So, at the moment, Kyrgyzstan is on the 81st position in the E-Government Development Index ranking (the level of development of electronic government) among 193 countries included in the UN monitoring. This is the best indicator of the republic for the current period in the EGDI ranking.
e-Government Development Index, (EGDI) is one of the key indicators of the development of the information society in the countries of the world. It includes indicators of three important aspects of e-government: online service delivery, telecommunications, and human capacity. As well as evaluating a country's website development patterns, the index includes accessibility characteristics (infrastructure and educational attainment) by analyzing how a country uses information technology to improve access and engagement.
Moreover, Kyrgyzstan in the E-Participation Index (EPI) promisingly rose and stood at 79th place.
The EPI index complements the EGDI and reflects citizens' access to public information with or without request, participation and discussion of public policies and services, and empowerment of the population through collaborative electronic decision-making about policies, services and how they are delivered.
