BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 3. Kyrgyzstan recorded an increase in average monthly salaries from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to the tazabek.kg.
As reported, average monthly nominal salaries in the first half of this year in Kyrgyzstan increased by 23.9 percent compared to the same period of 2021, amounting to 23,939 soms ($295.9).
During the reporting period, the salaries of workers in the non-public sector of Kyrgyzstan exceeded the ones of workers of the public sector.
The average monthly salary of workers in the non-public sector from January through June 2022 amounted to 29,600 soms ($366.7), while in the public sector - 20,600 soms ($255.2).
As of September 3, 2022, the official exchange rate set by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan is 80.8 KGS/1 USD.
