BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 10. Kyrgyzstan plans to modernize Manas Airport, eyeing to attract at least $400 million worth of investments, said the Director of the Public-private partnership (PPP) Center of Kyrgyzstan Sanzhar Bolotov, Trend reports via Kyrgyz Media.
The Center is currently working on the implementation of “Modernization and development of the Manas airport” project.
Within the framework of the project, work on runway renovation, replacement of old equipment with modern one, refurbishment of the existing passenger terminal and building of a new one, improvement of the airport's internal infrastructure and security are planned.
