President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov took part in the Hungarian-Kyrgyz business forum in Budapest.
The event was also attended by Minister of Economic Development of Hungary Marton Nagy, the heads of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan, as well as about 100 large companies of Kyrgyzstan and Hungary, representing the tourism and construction industries, light and food industries, pharmaceuticals, energy, industrial production, etc.
The opening of the forum began with a video showing the investment and export opportunities of Kyrgyzstan.
Further, the head of state in his speech invited the Hungarian business sector to participate in the implementation of priority projects in the fields of tourism, energy, agro-industrial complex and industrial production.
“The Kyrgyz Republic is always open for economic, scientific and humanitarian cooperation, as well as for interaction with representatives of the Hungarian business community.
I invite Hungarian businesses to actively work with our entrepreneurs, find common ground and invest in mutually beneficial projects.
I am sure that today's meeting will make a great contribution to strengthening business partnership and give an additional impetus to the development of Hungarian-Kyrgyz relations,” he said.
