BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 25. Toro - a Kyrgyz food company is talking with potential clients about partnering up to export meat to Hungary, Trend reports citing the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
To increase its production, Toro teamed up with the USAID Competitive Enterprise Project in 2021. With the support of the agency, the company purchased a shock freezer, which freezes meat very quickly, preserving its taste, quality and appearance.
Furthermore, Toro's achievement of the international ISO 22000 food safety accreditation was assisted by USAID as well. Through these initiatives, Toro was able to enter new markets internationally and export meat to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
