BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 21. The value of Kyrgyzstan's textile imports from Uzbekistan increased in the first 11 months of this year, Trend reports with reference to the State Committee of Uzbekistan on Statistics.
According to statistical data, supplies of textile products from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan from January through November 2022 amounted to $457.9 million, which is an increase of 29.2 percent over the same period in 2021 ($354.5 million).
During this period, Kyrgyzstan ranked 3rd among the countries of the world in terms of textile product imports from Uzbekistan.
Meanwhile, the largest share of Uzbek textile exports from January through November 2022 fell on Russia ($1.1 billion), followed by Türkiye ($481.9 million).
Overall, the total trade between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the first 11 months of this year increased by 31.3 percent over the same period in 2021 ($852.9 million) - up to $1.1 billion.
