BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 12. Average monthly salaries in Kyrgyzstan have increased over the year, Trend reports with reference to economist.kg.
According to statistical data, the average monthly salary in Kyrgyzstan in October 2022 amounted to 25,390 soms ($298.8), which is an increase of 29.5 percent over the same month in 2021 (19,598 soms, or $230.7).
During the reporting period, the most significant increase in salaries was observed in the field of art, entertainment and recreation (65.7 percent), healthcare and social services (52.2 percent), education (43.5 percent), public administration and defense (28.1percent) and others.
Meanwhile, as of December 12, 2022, the official exchange rate set by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan is KGS84.9/1USD.
