BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6. Finnish Finnair airline plans to launch direct flights to Uzbekistan for tourists wishing to visit the country from the Scandinavian countries, Trend reports via the Uzbek Ministry of Transport.
This issue was discussed at a meeting with the participation of senior officials of the Ministry of Transport, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Latvia, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, Uzbekistan Airports JSC and the Finnish Finnair airline.
The Ministry of Transport expressed full support for the airline’s proposal to launch new flights to Uzbekistan.
As a result of the meeting, the parties identified the tasks that will be implemented in the future within the framework of the discussed areas of cooperation.
