Two ocean liners carrying crude edible oil unloaded at Iran`s Bandar Abbas Port

TEHRAN, Iran, July 12. Iran's Government Trading Corporation (GTC) has announced that two ocean liners carrying 80,000 tons of crude edible oil unloaded at Bandar Abbas port, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to GTC, two ocean liners have docked at the Shahid Rajaee port complex in Bandar Abbas.

Currently, 119,000 tons of crude edible oil are stored in Bandar Abbas port tanks.

According to the report, in addition to these two ocean liners, another ship carrying 11,000 tons of crude edible oil will be unloaded in Shahid Rajaei port soon.

A total of over 1.144 million tons of basic commodities have been imported to Iran via Shahid Rajaee port, the country’s largest and best-equipped container port, since the beginning of the current Iranian year (started March 21), 111,000 tons of which was crude edible oil.

The total amount of basic commodities, entering into the country through Bandar Abbas Port, has been increased by 51 percent compared to the same period last year.
