UAE plans to launch new flights to Kyrgyz capital

BAKU, Azerbaijan. March 1. Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, a low-cost airline of the UAE, plans to launch a new flight from Abu Dhabi, to Kyrgyzstan’s Bishkek in June 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Manas International Airport.

The flights will be carried out by Airbus Neo 321 aircraft from the Manas International Airport in Bishkek on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The tickets for the flights could be booked via Wizz Flex passenger service.

The launch was announced following the signing of an agreement on interaction and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan’s Manas International Airport and Wizz Air Abu Dhabi. The main objective of the agreement is to increase the passenger flow between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE.

In addition, Wizz Air also plans to start operation of flights from Abu Dhabi to Kyrgyzstan’s Osh city in the near future.

Currently, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi implements flights to Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Jordan, Greece, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, and others. The company transported 27.1 million passengers in 2022.

Back in February 2022, a flight was launched from Sharjah, the third-biggest emirate of the UAE, to Kyrgyzstan’s Osh.
