BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. Mastercard is still negotiating with the Central Bank of Turkiye on recognition of credit cards issued in Azerbaijan, Trend reports citing the Mastercard Azerbaijan's office.
According to the statement, Azerbaijan's Mastercard cardholders will be able to make installment payments in Turkiye in the near future.
"Hopefully, we'll soon make a contribution to the growth of cross-border payments between Turkey and Azerbaijan and provide additional opportunities for tourists," MasterCard said.
Meanwhile, project execution is aimed at stimulating cashless payments.
