TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 31. The volume of money transfers sent from Georgia to Kazakhstan via international money transfer systems (IMTS) reached 541 million Kazakhstani tenge ($1.18 million) in April 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the National Bank reveals a 27 percent
uptick relative to the preceding month, escalating from 426 million
tenge ($0.93 million) in March to 541 million tenge (approximately
$1.18 million) in April.
In the aggregate, throughout the month of April 2025, Kazakhstan
executed a total of 55,300 inbound transactions via the
International Monetary Transaction System (IMTS), culminating in a
financial throughput of 19.3 billion tenge (equivalent to $42
million). In juxtaposition to March 2025, the remittance influx
experienced an uptick of 3.1 percent, concurrently with a robust
expansion in the aggregate transaction volume, which escalated by
15.4 percent.
