BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept.5. The number of subscribers of Bursagaz, subsidiary of SOCAR Türkiye, reached 1.1 million in the first half of 2022, Trend reports via Turkish media.
Reportedly, residential subscribers consumed 586.419 million cubic meters of natural gas in the first half of the year, showing a 10.3 percent increase year-on-year.
Non-residential consumption stood at 187.471 million cubic meters. February showed the highest level of natural gas consumption by Bursagaz subscribers. Osmangazi came in first for the volume of consumption among the districts where Bursagaz supplies natural gas. The district is consumed 266,240 million cubic meters of gas in H1 2022.
Bursagaz data shows that a total of 773,891 million cubic meters of natural gas was consumed in Bursa in the first half of the year, showing 4.21 percent increase compared to the first half of the previous year. Bursagaz continued to provide uninterrupted supplies to 11 districts of Bursa.
