BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13. About 50,000 tons of Turkmen's gasoline has been transited through Iran for the first time, Director-General of Ports and Maritime Department in Khuzestan Province, Behrouz Aghaei said, Trend reports referring to the Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
The director-general noted that on July 11, Turkmen gasoline was brought to Iran’s Imam Khomeini port in Khuzestan Province and will be transited to other countries through this port.
Aghaei added that the 50,000 tons of gasoline will be transited in 10 trips with 5,000 tons each trip.
“Iran's Imam Khomeini port has enough warehouses for storing and transiting products,” he said.
