BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 12. SOCAR Energy Ukraine has started imports from Germany, Italy, Finland and Greece, director of SOCAR Energy Ukraine Igor Orlov told Forbes, Trend reports.
He noted that the company also continues importing from traditional markets such as Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Romania and Moldova. It also began importing gasoline from Bulgaria in July.
“It was easier for our company to adapt, as we have never sold fuel from Belarus, Russia and from the domestic market. Nevertheless, we faced logistical problems after losing the opportunity to import via the sea,” he explained.
Orlov noted that SOCAR Energy Ukraine recovered to 2021 import levels in June.
