BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. Bulgaria exported to Tajikistan goods for 128,875 euro in February 2023, which is a sustainable increase of almost 52 times compared to January 2023, Trend reports via Eurostat.
The agency noted that chemicals were the main products supplied by Bulgaria to Tajikistan in the specified period. Bulgaria exported chemical products for 107,830 euro to Tajikistan in February 2023, while there are not registered data for this type of exports for January 2023.
In February this year, the country also exported to Tajikistan textile and textile products – for 19,181 euro, and various manufactured articles – for 1,866 euro.
Meanwhile, the exports from Bulgaria to Tajikistan exceeded 2.8 million last year, which is an increase of 2.4 times compared to 2021 (1.1 million euro).
The value of trade turnover between Tajikistan and EU countries exceeded 84 million euros in from January through February 2023.
During the specified period, Tajikistan imported goods from the EU countries for more than 56.4 million euros. The value of Tajikistan’s exports to the EU totaled 27.6 million from January through February 2023.
