BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 3. Azerbaijan’s state oil fund SOFAZ got $534.751 million worth revenues from Shah Deniz gas and condensate sale from January 1, 2023 to March 1, 2023, compared to $227.557 million in the same period in 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Fund.
As such, SOFAZ’s revenues from Shah Deniz increased by 2.3 times year-on-year.
During the reporting period, the revenues from Shah Deniz condensate sale amounted to $58.069 million, growing by 2.6 times from $22.172 million in the same period in 2022.
The Fund’s revenues from Shah Deniz gas and condensate sale stood at $1.443 billion in 2022.
In 2022, the Shah Deniz field produced about 25 billion standard cubic metres (bscm) of gas and more than 4 million tonnes of condensate in total from the Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms.
The existing Shah Deniz facilities’ production capacity is currently about 74 million standard cubic metres of gas per day or more than 27 bcma.
Shah Deniz participating interests are: bp (operator – 29.99%), LUKOIL (19.99%), TPAO (19.00%), SOCAR (14.35%), NICO (10.00%) and SGC (6.67%).
