BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 10. Entrepreneurs from Türkiye and Afghanistan purchased liquefied natural gas from Turkmen production during trading on January 6 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, businessmen from Türkiye and Afghanistan purchased 33,000 tons of LNG in exchange. The total amount of the transaction amounted to $12.5 million.
At the same time, according to the exchange, on January 4, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased 5,000 tons of Turkmen-made LNG for a total of $2.4 million.
Turkmenistan pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
