BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 3. In Turkmenistan, the total volume of non-cash payments under the "Digital Commerce" system from January through September 2022 amounted to 428.6 million Turkmen manats ($122.3 million), Trend reports citing the Business Turkmenistan news agency.
During the specified period, the total amount of payments through the "Mobile Bank" system amounted to 10.4 million Turkmen manats ($2.9 million), and through the "Internet Bank" system - 1,2 million Turkmen manats ($342,500).
Meanwhile, non-cash payments via the "Halkbank Terminal" system from January through September 2022 amounted to 19.1 million Turkmen manats ($5.4 million).
During the reporting period, the total non-cash turnover on bank cards in Turkmenistan amounted to 10.3 billion Turkmen manats ($2.93 billion).
Furthermore, at the beginning of December last year, during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, a Program for 2022 on the sustainable development of the national economy was adopted.
