BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 12. A total of 91,000 tons of fruit and vegetable products, seeds, grain and products thereof have been exported from Russia's Volgograd oblast (region) to Azerbaijan since the beginning of 2022, Trend reports referring to Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor).
According to the agency, all quarantinable products have been subjected to laboratory control.
"The overall output met the phytosanitary quarantine requirements of the importing country and was approved for export," the statement said.
In the reporting period, 2.3 million tons of fruit and vegetable products, seeds, grain and its processed products have been exported from the Volgograd oblast, prepared for transportation through Russia, as well as for exporting abroad.
