BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 10. Tajikistan's trade turnover with Russia considerably increased from January through October 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Agency on Statistics under President of Tajikistan.
According to statistical data, the value of trade turnover between Tajikistan and Russia in the first 10 months of this year increased by 37.1 percent over the same period in 2021 - up to over $1.3 billion.
During the reporting period, in the structure of trade between the two countries, 94 percent accounted for the import of Russian goods by Tajikistan - $1.3 billion.
At the same time, the value of Tajik exports to Russia from January through October 2022 amounted to only about $75 million.
Overall, the foreign trade turnover of Tajikistan in 10 months of this year amounted to $5.9 billion, which is an increase of 18.9 percent over the same period in 2021.
