BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 14. The Minister of Transport of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim met with the representatives of the South Korean Export-Import Bank (Eximbank) on November 11, Trend reports citing Tajikistan's Ministry of Transport.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the implementation of investment transport projects, which are a priority for Tajikistan.
Representatives of the Eximbank of South Korea announced its readiness to assist in the development of a feasibility study for the construction of the railway on the route Jaloliddini Balkhi – Jaihun – Pyanj.
Notably, the relations between the two countries are growing every year, the trade turnover between Tajikistan and South Korea from January through September 2022 reached $35.2 million, which is an increase of 6.1 percent over the same period in 2021.
