BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 15. UAE’s Masdar is implementing an investment project for construction of a new solar photoelectric power plant in Uzbekistan,Trend reports via the Uzbek Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade.
The solar photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 457 MW will be constructed in the Sherabad district of the Surkhandarya region.
The current state of the implementation of the project was discussed during a meeting of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan with the representatives of Masdar company.
During the meeting, the stages of the project implementation, the progress of preparation for work within the framework of the next construction phase, as well as organizational issues related to the laying of high-voltage lines across the territory of Sherabad and adjacent areas were considered in detail.
After a comprehensive analysis of the technical parameters of the project, the necessary measures were developed to ensure the timely implementation of the project.
