BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. Azerbaijan has begun exporting electrodes to Turkmenistan for the first time, the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA) told Trend.
The initiative is being led by Gedik Kaynak LLC, a resident enterprise of the Neftchala Industrial District, which operates under the management of the EZDA under the Ministry of Economy.
The Agency noted that the company has shipped an initial batch of 100 tons of electrodes to Turkmenistan.
Gedik Kaynak LLC was registered as a resident of the Neftchala Industrial District in 2021 and currently manufactures electrodes in two categories and eight sizes. The facility has a monthly production capacity of 300 tons and employs 20 permanent staff members with an investment of 7.5 million manat ($4.4 million).
