BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 22. German KNAUF, the world's largest manufacturer of building materials based on gypsum has launched its third plant in Uzbekistan, Trend reports via the company’s statement.
The enterprise was built in Fergana within 2.5 years. It is capable of annually producing 17 million square meters of gypsum building boards and 40,000 tons of dry building mixes made according to German technology and high environmental standards.
The plant operates the latest generation of dust collectors, which eliminates the possibility of the formation of so-called "dust plumes".
The volume of investments in the plant amounted to 18.7 million euros.
