BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 4. Afghan entrepreneurs purchased diesel fuel during trading on December 29 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trendreports citing Orient news.
Businessmen from Afghanistan purchased 5,000 tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel on the exchange at a price of $973 per ton. The total amount of the transaction was $4.86 million.
According to the exchange, the price of Turkmen diesel fuel increased by 0.8 percent compared to previous auctions.
At the same time, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased 1,700 tons of aviation kerosene worth $1.6 million on December 26.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
