BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 15. The passenger flow at the Manas International Airport, which is the main airport in Kyrgyzstan, significantly increased in the first 9 months of this year, Trend reports via press service of Manas International Airport OJSC.
According to statistics, the Manas International Airport based in Kyrgyzstan's capital Bishkek from January through September 2022 served more than 2 million people, which is an increase of 33.5 percent over the same period in 2021.
During the reporting period, a total of 1,464,000 passengers were served at the international routes, and 570,025 people at domestic routes.
The total number of performed flights at the Manas International Airport from January through September 2022 amounted to 18,295.
Overall, the passenger flow at Kyrgyzstan's airports in the first 9 months amounted to more than 3.8 million people, which is an increase of 35.9 percent over the same period in 2021.
