BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. Chinese CAMC Engineering Corporation plans to build cable cars in Uzbekistan, Trend reports via the Uzbek Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
On September 16, a ceremony of signing a memorandum of cooperation was held in Samarkand, which was attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan Aziz Abduhakimov and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CAMC Wang Bo.
Based on the memorandum, the parties agreed:
- establish cooperation on the implementation of investment projects for the construction and operation of cable cars in Uzbekistan;
- attract experts to promote investment projects within the framework of the agreement;
- to send a group of specialists to select sites intended for the construction of cable cars, and to clarify the details of cooperation at the technical and financial level;
- organize training on the management and operation of cable cars.
In addition, as part of the preparation of this agreement, representatives of the Chinese engineering corporation visited the Bostanlyk region to study the infrastructural conditions of the site.
